BBC Radio Scotland- Selkirk Studio
Freelance journalist with a variety of roles including writing, reporting and presenting bulletins as well as handling social media posts whilst on shift. I was involved in the setting up of a twitter account and a SoundCloud account in order to make the local news bulletins more accessible in a bid to widen the audience and increase community engagement during the coronavirus pandemic.
ENRG Debrief
I took part in the organisation and presenting of three election broadcasts. During the 2019 I was a count reporter and reported live from the count in Kelso. Presented an overnight broadcast for the 2020 American Presidential Election. Organised and presented two days of live coverage for 2021 Holyrood elections which included interviews with all of the major party leaders as well as contributions from seasoned journalists such as Nick Eardley and Brian Taylor.
ENRG Sport
Written a number of articles on news and happenings within the world of Formula 1 as well as presenting several podcasts including a podcast series for The British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa in 2021.
